Klassic Haus restores first
Cameo Classics classical recording
In collaboration with
David Kent-Watson, owner of Cameo Classics, and John Whitmore, my UK
colleague/transcriptionist, Klassic Haus has restored this 1972 recording (image of CD at left) of Cameo Classics' first classical recording, "Music for Violin
and Piano", recorded at Indigo Sound Studios with Bob Auger engineering
the sessions.
This recording, featuring Michael Davis, leader of the Hallé
Orchestra on violin and Hallé pianist Rayson Whalley, is the first of the list
of Nimbus/Cameo Classics releases for February 2014, as CC9001CD. Click on the
thumbnail at left to go to the Wyastone/Nimbus Records website for more information
